To explore how race, sex and gender are represented in the news and how that affects how we see the world. To learn how to minimize bias and tell stories of race and gender more effectively.

Through reading, evaluating and discussing examples found in mainstream print and broadcast media; interviewing sources; and researching and writing our own stories.
